'Cast Outs' is an urban fantasy co-op action game where you and your crew unleash visceral, physical magic, amplify each other’s powers and push back invading forces in the fight to save your city. 

Twisted Works is an independent London studio founded in 2024 by senior developers from PlayStation London Studio, Guerrilla Cambridge, Disney Interactive, Square Enix, Creative Assembly, Blur and other leading teams.

The studio specialises in co-op action, character-driven performance and high-impact combat design. The founding team’s experience spans major action and narrative-led franchises, with backgrounds in leadership, art, animation, external development and large-scale production, including work on Horizon Forbidden West, Blood and Truth, Resident Evil 7, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Killzone, and the Total War series. 

Built around rapid iteration, early community insight and a collaborative development culture, the studio focuses on creating new IP for a global audience. Its approach blends fast, visceral gameplay with strong character identity, visual storytelling and accessible worlds. 

This reveal marks the studio’s first public step and introduces its first IP. It sets out who Twisted Works is, what the team is building and the creative philosophy driving the studio as it enters the co-op action space.
